Joan Cole, President of Cole Consultants, Inc., has been licensed as a life and health insurance agent since 1989. After focusing upon group/employer benefits for years, she began selling long term care insurance in 1997 following completion of the Long Term Care Course with the American College. She also completed a comprehensive study given by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors to become a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), one of only 12 insurance agents/consultants in the Wichita, Kansas area with that designation. As an independent agent, Joan can offer Long Term Care insurance from any LTCI company that is licensed in the state of Kansas. But, there are 3 qualifications Joan requires of any LTCI company before she will offer their product. Those qualifications are: enough assets to make the company financially secure must be highly ranked by all three rating services must offer a quality product and outstanding services
As a CSA, Joan participates annually in continuing education provided by the Society about topics that are important to seniors. This enables her to stay informed and educated about senior issues.
